  • 1 French baguette, sliced into ½-inch thick rounds
  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey
  • 4-6 slices of prosciutto
  • Lavender honey for drizzling (store-bought or homemade)
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the Baguette Slices: Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet in a single layer. Lightly brush each slice with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the slices.

  3. Bake the Baguette Slices: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until the baguette slices are golden brown and crisp. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning. Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.

  4. Assemble the Bruschetta: Spread a generous amount of softened goat cheese onto each baguette slice. Drizzle honey over the goat cheese, adjusting the amount to your taste preferences.

  5. Add Prosciutto: Tear or slice the prosciutto into smaller pieces. Place a piece of prosciutto on top of the goat cheese and honey mixture on each bruschetta.

  6. Drizzle with Lavender Honey: Drizzle lavender honey over the top of each bruschetta for a sweet and floral flavor.

  7. Garnish: Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the bruschetta for a pop of color and additional flavor.

  8. Serve: Arrange the prepared bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately as a delightful appetizer or snack.

This elegant yet simple bruschetta is sure to impress with its combination of creamy goat cheese, salty prosciutto, and sweet honey, elevated by the floral notes of lavender honey. Enjoy the delicious flavors and textures with each bite!
